á = CTRL + '(apostrophe), then a
é = CTRL + '(apostrophe), then e
í = CTRL + '(apostrophe), then i
ó = CTRL + '(apostrophe), then o
ú = CTRL + '(apostrophe), then u
For capitals, use CTRL + '(apostrophe), then SHIFT + the letter

ñ = CTRL + SHIFT + ~(tilde) + the letter
To place the diaeresis over the u, hold down the Option key while pressing the u key; release and type u again.
ü = CTRL + SHIFT + :(colon) + the letter
